Winter Is Coming – Candlelight Dinner 2024

On Saturday, December 28, 2024, Veronica’s Way hosted a remarkable event titled “Winter Is Coming – Candle Light Dinner.” This heartfelt gathering, organized under the Hunger Relief pillar of Veronica’s Way, aimed to spread holiday cheer by providing an elegant dinner and talent showcase for the ladies of the Park Slope Homeless Shelter.

The event was graciously hosted in the auditorium of the “Heights and Hills” center, which was beautifully transformed into an exquisite dining hall, radiating warmth and festivity. Guests were treated to an unforgettable evening filled with camaraderie, celebration, and joy.

The vibrant atmosphere was amplified by the exceptional musical stylings of DJ Bango, who kept spirits high with a soundtrack that had everyone dancing and laughing in good cheer. Guests were also treated to captivating performances by Zamy Ma’a, a talented singer and songwriter, who delivered an impromptu live beat session; Koopah, an RnB singer whose original songs infused with a Caribbean flair enchanted the audience; and Kasiem, a Coda sign language dance musician, whose unique and powerful performance left a lasting impression. It was an evening that truly embodied the season’s spirit of togetherness.
